Rider Requirements
- Minimum renter age: The person renting the e-bike must be at least 18 years old.
- Minimum rider age: Additional participants must be at least 14 years old.
- Minimum rider height: Riders must be at least 5 feet 2 inches tall.
- Riders younger than 18: A parent or legal guardian must provide a signature and waiver consent.
- Identification and payment: The renter must present a valid driver’s license and valid credit card.
Booking and Online Waiver
After booking, you will receive an email confirmation containing a link to complete your waiver online. Check your email address carefully before submitting your reservation and complete the waiver before arrival to help speed up the pickup process.
Please have your driver’s license available when completing the waiver and checking in.
Cancellation Policy
Reservations canceled at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time are fully refundable. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pickup receive a non-expiring credit that may be used for a future reservation. Same-day and next-day reservations made within the 24-hour window are non-refundable.

Fun Rentals St. Augustine requires the renter to present a valid driver’s license and valid credit card. A motor-vehicle driver’s license is not required solely to operate an e-bike, but every rider must meet our age and height requirements and follow applicable bicycle and e-bike rules.
How old do I have to be to rent or ride an e-bike?
The renter must be at least 18 years old. Additional riders must be at least 14 years old and 5 feet 2 inches tall. A parent or legal guardian must provide a signature and waiver consent for riders ages 14 through 17.
Where can I ride an e-bike in St. Augustine?
E-bikes may generally be ridden where bicycles are permitted, including many streets, bike lanes, bicycle paths, and multiuse paths. Follow all posted signs and local restrictions, yield when required, and ask our staff to review recommended routes before departure.
Are e-bikes difficult to ride?
If you are comfortable riding a traditional bicycle, a pedal-assist e-bike is usually easy to learn. The motor provides assistance only as you pedal. Our staff will explain the controls and important safety features before your ride.

Yes, but the Vilano Bridge area carries faster traffic and requires extra care. Use the designated bicycle or shared-use facility, follow all posted signs, and ask our staff about the safest current route before departure.
