Previous Scooter-Riding Experience Is Required
For your safety, previous motor-scooter riding experience is mandatory. St. Augustine traffic is not the place to learn how to operate a two-wheel motor scooter for the first time.
Our staff will review the scooter’s functions and controls before your rental, but this orientation is not a substitute for prior riding experience. Every renter must demonstrate that they can safely operate the scooter during a test ride.
If you have never driven a motor scooter, we recommend renting a Scoot Coupe instead. Its stable three-wheel design is much easier for first-time riders to operate. No refunds will be issued if you cannot safely operate the scooter during your test ride.

Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel a reservation for a full refund. Cancellation requests must be emailed to [email protected] at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Phone cancellations are not accepted.
Reservations canceled after the 48-hour deadline may be eligible for a non-expiring credit that can be used toward a future reservation. Same-day and next-day reservations are nonrefundable.

Do you provide scooter training?
Our experienced staff will provide a brief safety orientation and review the scooter’s functions and controls. However, this instruction is not a substitute for previous riding experience. You must already know how to safely operate a motor scooter.
What happens if I cannot safely operate the scooter?
Every renter must demonstrate safe scooter operation during a test ride. If our staff determines that you cannot safely operate the scooter, you will not be permitted to leave with it. No refund will be issued if you cannot safely complete the test ride.
