Golf Cart Rental Options and Times
- One-hour and four-hour rentals: Available with reservation start times of 9:00 or 10:00 a.m.
- Full-day rentals: Pick up at or after 9:00 a.m. and return no later than 5:00 p.m. the same day.
- 24-hour rentals: Pick up at or after 9:00 a.m. and return by the same time the following day.
- Multi-day and weekly rentals: Available for visitors who need a golf cart for an extended stay. Book online to view available carts and request a free quote.
Driver Requirements and What to Bring
- Driver eligibility: Renters and drivers must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
- Payment and insurance: Bring a physical credit or debit card and your current auto-insurance information. Your auto insurance will serve as the primary insurance for the golf cart rental.
- Sunglasses: Recommended for comfort and protection from sun and glare while driving or riding.
- Closed-toe shoes: Recommended to help protect your feet while operating or riding in the cart.
Cancellation Policy
Reservations canceled at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time are fully refundable. Cancellations made within 24 hours of pickup may be eligible for a non-expiring rental credit that can be used toward a future reservation. Same-day and next-day reservations made within the 24-hour cancellation window are nonrefundable.

Do I need a driver’s license to rent a golf cart in St. Augustine?
Yes. Every renter and driver must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license. Golf carts may only be operated on public streets where street-legal golf carts and low-speed vehicles are permitted.
How old do I have to be to rent and drive a golf cart?
You must be at least 21 years old to rent or drive one of our golf carts. A valid driver’s license, physical credit or debit card and current auto-insurance information are required.
Where can I drive a rental golf cart in St. Augustine?
Golf carts picked up from our 125 King Street location must remain within the approved St. Augustine operating area. You may travel on permitted streets in and around the Historic District and cross the Bridge of Lions to the St. Augustine Lighthouse area. Golf carts may only travel on permitted roads with posted speed limits of 35 mph or lower and must follow all posted signs and local restrictions. Our staff will review the permitted driving area with you before departure.
If you need a golf cart at St. Augustine Beach or Vilano Beach, delivery may be available directly to your address. Enter your delivery address when booking to view available delivery options.

Can I drive a rental golf cart across the Bridge of Lions?
Yes. Our street-legal golf carts may cross the Bridge of Lions and travel through the approved area of Anastasia Island up to the St. Augustine Lighthouse. They may not continue beyond the permitted route or travel on roads where golf carts and low-speed vehicles are prohibited. Our staff will review the permitted route with you before departure.
Can I drive a rental golf cart across the Vilano Bridge?
No. Rental golf carts may not cross the Vilano Bridge because the bridge and connecting roads are outside the permitted operating route. If you need a golf cart at Vilano Beach or St. Augustine Beach, delivery may be available directly to your address. Enter the delivery address when booking, and our staff will explain the approved operating area at delivery.
